What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We also use closely related technologies — local storage and session storage — and treat them the same way in this policy.
Strictly necessary
These cannot be switched off: without them you cannot log in or play. They are set on the basis of necessity, not consent.
- access_token, refresh_token — keep you signed in. HTTP-only, so page scripts cannot read them.
- gh-theme — remembers whether you chose the light or dark skin.
- Session and security cookies used for request integrity and rate limiting.
Functional
These remember choices you have made so the site behaves the way you left it — your preferred currency, dismissed notices, and responsible-gambling reality-check timing. Disabling them costs you those preferences, not access.
Analytics
These tell us which pages are used and where journeys break. They are set only if you accept them, and we use them in aggregate.
Marketing
These measure campaigns and limit how often you see the same promotion. They are set only if you accept them. We do not set marketing cookies for anyone who is self-excluded.
Changing your mind
You can change your cookie choices at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer, and you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you being able to log in.
